Mrs Row

Proprietor

Mrs Row has two children and is founder and owner of the Nursery. She obtained her qualification through the Open University whilst working at a local primary school. Mrs Row founded Music Box in 2006 and then went on to open Yorley Barn Nursery School in 2009. To date she has over 17 years experience working with children.

Mrs Powles

Nursery Manager

Is qualified to level 5 City & Guilds Diploma in leadership for the children and young people's workforce early years and management. She has worked in Early Years education for over 32 years and is also the settings SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). She is a qualified First Aider and also holds her food hygiene certificate.

Mrs Gillibrand

Administration Manager

Is a qualified level 3 practitioner and is our Administration Manager. She previously worked at 2 other schools in Sudbury before joining the team at Yorley Barn. She is a qualified First Aider. In her spare time she enjoys running.

Mrs Hughes

Deputy Manager

Is a qualified level 3 practitioner in Childcare, Learning and Development. She is a qualified First Aider. She is married, with 2 daughters and in her spare time enjoys family days out.

Mrs Miller

Early Years Practitioner

Is level 3 qualified in Early Years and childcare and is also our lunchtime supervisor. Mrs Miller is a qualified First Aider. She has two children and enjoys horse riding in her spare time.

Miss Wenborn

Yorley Barn Babies
Senior Practitioner

Is level 3 qualified in Early Years and childcare and is a qualified First Aider. Miss Wenborn is our Senior Practitioner supervising and running Yorley Barn Babies. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, shopping and cooking.

Miss Murkin

Early Years Practitioner

Miss Murkin is level 3 qualified and holds her food hygiene and first aid certificates. In her spare time she likes to keep fit by swimming and running. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves shopping.

Miss Bixby

Student Practitioner

Is studying her level 5 in Early Years and Childcare and is Yorley Barns cover staff always stepping in last minute to help out when we have staff sickness. She also works at the Eight Bells in Bures waitressing at weekends and in the evenings. In her spare time, Miss Bixby enjoys socialising with her family and friends and going to the Gym

Miss Cox

Apprentice

Miss Cox is our full time Apprentice. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, baking and sports activities but especially enjoys running. At weekends Miss Cox loves spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs Baker

Early Years Practitioner

Is level 3 qualified in Early Years and Childcare and holds her First Aid certificate. Mrs Baker is married with 2 sons, a step son and a granddaughter. in her spare time she likes to socialise with friends, host dinner parties and enjoys the cinema.

Miss Mortin

Apprentice

Is our part time Apprentice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and baking and decorating cakes.

Miss Carey

Dancing Becki

Visits our Nursery 3 times a week to do 'Little Feet dance' sessions. She is a qualified First Aider and also runs dance sessions for children of all ages in the evenings and at weekends. The children love dancing with Dancing Becki learning how to listen carefully and follow the instruction during her structured sessions which are all carefully planned in line with the Early Years Foundation stage.

Mr Frost

Little Feet Multi-Sports


Visits our Nursery 3 times a week to do 'Little Feet Multi Sports' sessions. He is a qualified First Aider. He also runs Maxim football Sports Coaching for children at weekends. The children really enjoy his 'Little Feet' sessions learning how to jump, catch, throw, balance and much more, all in line with the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum.

Miss Richards

Domestic Goddess

Is our Domestic Goddess. She cleans our Nursery, does all the weekly grocery shopping and our laundry. She ensures everything is 'just so' ready for each Nursery day!
